Anna Freeman

Anna Freeman is a Part-Time Lecturer at the School of Writing, Publishing and the Humanities, Bath Spa University. She is a novelist and poet with expertise in creative writing, historical fiction, and spoken word performance. Her work spans literary creation, education, and event production.

Her research and teaching focus on creative writing pedagogy, historical narratives, and the intersection of literature with cultural history. She has been recognized with the Tibor Jones pageturner prize (2013).

Freeman's publications include two novels: The Fair Fight (2013), a historical adventure novel set in 18th-century Bristol, and the upcoming Four Days of Fog (2018), a mystery novel. Her work explores themes like gender dynamics, historical settings, and regional British culture.
