Anna Crawford

Anna Crawford is a Research Assistant Lecturer at the University of Colorado Denver’s School of Public Affairs and part of the Office of Advancement. She is a Ph.D. candidate specializing in policy process research, with a focus on abortion/reproductive politics and policy. Her research explores intersectionality and representation within advocacy coalitions during policy conflicts, supported by a grant from the Society of Family Planning.

Anna holds a graduate certificate in public policy analysis from CU Denver, an M.A. in English from Penn State University, and a B.A. in English and Anthropology from Texas Tech University. She teaches courses on policy processes, policy analysis, political advocacy, and social movements.

Her research has been published in journals including Policy Sciences, Policy and Society, Review of Policy Research, and the International Review of Public Policy. Anna is affiliated with the Center for Policy and Democracy as a researcher. She previously served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Ukraine with her partner, and they now reside in Denver with their family.
