Anna Babka is an Associate Professor at the Institute of German Studies in the Faculty of Philology and Cultural Studies at the University of Vienna. Her research intersects Gender Studies, Queer Studies, and Postcolonial Studies with Deconstruction, Rhetoric, and Cultural Theory. She specializes in German literature from Romanticism (Heinrich von Kleist) to contemporary Austrian authors like Elfriede Jelinek and Semier Insayif.
