Ann Partee is a Research Assistant Professor in the School of Education and Human Development at the University of Virginia, affiliated with the Human Services department and the Center for Advanced Study of Teaching and Learning. Her research focuses on early childhood education, emphasizing classroom processes that support young children’s learning and development, particularly through interventions targeting teacher-child relationships and social-emotional development. She holds a Ph.D. (2020), Ed.M. (2013), and B.A. (2009) from the University of Virginia, Harvard University, and the University of Texas at Austin, respectively.
