Ann Monroe is Professor and Associate Dean for Academic Affairs in the School of Education at the University of Mississippi, where she plays a key role in academic leadership and teacher preparation. She is based in the Department of Teacher Education and teaches foundational courses in education, curriculum, and teaching strategies.
Her research focuses on the emotional dimensions of teaching and learning, particularly how educators can foster pride and reduce shame in classrooms.
