Ann Foraker Nicely is an Instructor in the Department of Communication at Marietta College, based in Mills Hall. She has held roles including Director of Alumni Engagement, overseeing programs to strengthen institutional ties with alumni, parents, and supporters. Previously, she served in the U.S. Department of Treasury as a Human Resource Specialist and held multiple leadership positions within Marietta College’s Advancement division, including Assistant Director, Associate Director, and Director of Alumni Engagement. She played a key role in the $50 million Legacy Campaign and pioneered initiatives such as the Golden Reunion Weekend.
Education: BA in Advertising & Public Relations (Marietta College, 2003); MA in Corporate Media (Marietta College, 2005).
Her expertise spans organizational communication, fundraising strategy, and alumni engagement. She currently serves as Conference Coordinator for the Ohio Communication Association.
