Animesh Biswas

Professor Animesh Biswas is a faculty member in the Department of Electrical Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur. His research focuses on RF, Microwave & Photonics engineering with expertise in Electromagnetics, Micro & Millimeter wave circuits and techniques, Optical Guide structure, and MMICs.

Professor Biswas's research interests span across multiple areas of electromagnetic theory and microwave engineering. He has published numerous papers in IEEE Transactions on Microwave Theory and Techniques, focusing on characterization and modeling of various microwave components and structures.

His research has evolved from fundamental characterization of microwave components in the late 1980s to more complex resonator designs and applications in the 2000s, showing a consistent focus on advancing microwave circuit design and analysis techniques.
