Angelo Caglioti is an Assistant Professor in the Department of History at Barnard College, Columbia University. His research bridges environmental history, the history of science, and late modern European history, with a focus on 19th–20th century Italy, Italian colonialism, and Fascism. He examines climate history, colonial resource management, and the intersections of science with imperialism and racism.
