Dr. Angela Lafuente is a Term Assistant Professor at Northern Michigan University's Earth, Environmental and Geographical Sciences department. Specializing in soil ecology, biogeochemistry, and global change impacts, she conducts multi-scale research spanning local (Upper Peninsula, Peruvian Amazon), regional (Colombian Andes), and global contexts. Her work focuses on carbon/nitrogen cycling, drylands, and peatlands.
