About
Angela Ho is an Associate Professor of Biology at Boston University, researching synaptic mechanisms in neurodevelopment and neurodegeneration. Her lab investigates neuronal migration pathways disrupted in learning disabilities, and Alzheimer's disease pathogenesis through APP processing and amyloid-beta generation. Using molecular and cellular approaches, Ho's team analyzes cytoskeletal regulation in cortical development and APP trafficking in neurons.
Ho teaches neurobiology courses including 'Molecular Biology of the Neuron'. Her research combines mouse genetics, live imaging, and biochemical techniques to uncover molecular bases of neurological disorders.
