Andy Yau

Andy Yau is a Visiting Tutor in Movement at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, part of Birmingham City University. Born in Hong Kong and now based in the UK, he trained in Musical Theatre Dance at The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts and earned an MA in Acting from the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire. His career spans theatre, film, and television, with notable roles in productions like Anything Goes, Thoroughly Modern Millie, and films such as 47 Ronin and Tomb Raider. Beyond performing, he contributes to healthcare as a Cantonese interpreter for the NHS, teaches Tai Chi, and provides movement training for the Conservatoire.
