About
Andy Terhell is an Associate Lecturer in Media and Technical Officer at the School of Creative Arts and Media, University of Tasmania. He joined The Media School in 2017 and assumed his current role in 2019. He coordinates courses including HEJ140 Making Media and HEJ260-370 Media Projects, and teaches at postgraduate levels in documentary and events units. His expertise spans digital media production, factual filmmaking, and creative enterprise.

Research Interests: Andy focuses on environmental communication, screen media, and interdisciplinary creative projects. Current projects include The Pet Project, which investigates human-pet bonds through creative workshops and film, and a PhD developing innovative environmental documentary techniques.
