Andy Taylor

Andy Taylor is a Lecturer in Sound, Head of Theatre Technology, and Programme Leader for the BA (Hons) Digital Design & Production at the Guildhall School. He holds a Music degree from Huddersfield University (1990), a PGCE (1999), and an MA in Audio Technology (2007). With extensive industry experience in music recording studios like Abbey Road and Whitfield Street, he has worked with renowned composers such as Hans Zimmer and artists like Shirley Bassey. His career transitioned to education in the late 1990s, teaching Sound and Music Technology at institutions like Kingston College before joining the Guildhall School in 2013.
