Andrés Benny J. is an Associate Professor in the Department of History at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. His research focuses on Latino and Mexican American history, U.S.-Mexico borderlands, 20th-century U.S. West, environmental history, labor history, and food studies. He earned his Ph.D. from the University of New Mexico in 2003.
