Andrew Sullivan is an Associate Professor and Undergraduate Program Director in the Department of Civil, Construction, and Environmental Engineering at the School of Engineering, University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB). He leads the Birmingham Regional Transportation Data Center, a partnership with the Regional Planning Commission of Greater Birmingham, which monitors regional transportation performance and congestion. Sullivan has over 30 years of experience in transportation engineering, spanning academia and the private sector.

Research & Teaching: Specializes in traffic control systems design, roadway geometric design, transportation simulation, and emerging technologies.
