Andrew Stewart is a Professor at the Coral Bell School of Asia Pacific Affairs, Australian National University, and Head of Conflict Research at the British Army's Centre for Historical Analysis and Conflict Research (CHACR). He holds additional roles as Honorary Professor at the Strategic and Defence Studies Centre and former Director of Academic Studies at the Royal College of Defence Studies. Married to Joanne, a Senior Public Servant, he resides in Oxford. His research focuses on WWII military history, contemporary security, and professional military education.
