Andrew Saunders

Andrew Saunders is an Assistant Professor at the School of Architecture (SoA) at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI). His work focuses on robotic fabrication, computational design, and the intersection of architecture with textile-inspired structures. He collaborated with Robofold (London) on the Robotic Lattice Smock project, funded by the Browns Fellowship, which explored lattice smocking techniques applied to sheet metal through digital tools.
