Andrew Robson is Professor and Director of the Applied Agricultural Remote Sensing Centre (AARSC) at the University of New England. He leads national projects on multi-scale crop monitoring, securing over $20M in funding. His research leverages satellite/UAV remote sensing for yield forecasting in sugarcane, avocados, mangoes, and other crops.
He holds a PhD from the University of Queensland and is a Fellow of the Royal Society of New South Wales. Research focuses on precision agriculture, disease detection, and spectral analysis for crop management. Awards include the Maxar Technologies Imagery Application Award (2020).
