Andrew Heisey is a Professor of Art at Waynesburg University, located in the Benedum Fine Arts Center. He holds an M.F.A. from The University of the Arts in Philadelphia and an M.A. in Ceramics from Bloomsburg University. Before joining Waynesburg, he taught art for 15 years in middle and high schools. His specialties include Art History, Ceramics, and Sculpture. He actively engages students through international Art History trips, recently leading a tour to Barcelona, Spain, to study Gaudí's Sagrada Família. Beyond academia, Heisey is a member of the James D. Randolph Kiltie Band, frequently performing bagpipes on campus.
