Andrew Hayen

Andrew Hayen is Professor of Biostatistics at UTS School of Public Health. His research applies statistical methods to improve health outcomes for vulnerable populations, including refugees and blood donors. Current projects with Australian Red Cross Lifeblood examine health impacts of donation, while NHMRC-funded work analyzes refugee health through data linkage.

Methodological expertise includes longitudinal data analysis and clinical trial design. Publications demonstrate consistent focus on translating statistical insights into public health policy.
