Andrew Feld

Andrew Feld is an Associate Professor of English and Director of Creative Writing at the University of Washington, affiliated with the College of Arts & Sciences. He holds offices in PDL B-432 and B-025, with weekly office hours on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 12-1 PM.

His research focuses on Poetry and Poetics, with notable works including Citizen (2003 National Poetry Series selection) and Raptor (University of Chicago Press). He has been honored with a Wallace Stegner Fellowship from Stanford University, the Discovery Award, The Nation Award, and two Pushcart Prizes.

Feld teaches courses in creative writing and poetry, and oversees the Creative Writing program as its Director. His scholarly contributions emphasize contemporary poetic forms and literary innovation.
