Dr. Andrew Dolby is Professor of Biology at the University of Mary Washington, specializing in behavioral ecology. He holds a Ph.D. from The Ohio State University and joined UMW in 2000.
Research Focus: Current research examines Great Blue Heron fishing success in the Rappahannock River and wildlife population monitoring in regional parks. Field research extends to tropical ecology in the Galapagos Islands.
Teaching: Leads courses including Ornithology, Animal Behavior, Evolution, and Tropical Ecology, with field studies in the Galapagos Islands.
