Andrew Raffo Dewar is Associate Professor in New College and the School of Music at University of Alabama. An interdisciplinary composer-performer and ethnomusicologist, his work explores experimental acoustic/electronic music, improvisation, and intercultural collaborations.

- BA in Anthropology/Music/Asian Studies, University of Minnesota
His research examines experimentalism across arts traditions, jazz cosmopolitanism, and 1960s intermedia. Performances and recordings span North America, Europe, and Southeast Asia. He coordinates courses in electronic music history, ethnographic methods, and interdisciplinary arts.
