Andrew Cuccia

Andrew Cuccia is an Associate Professor and Steed Professor of Accountancy at the University of Oklahoma's Price College of Business. He specializes in tax professional judgment and federal income taxation, teaching both undergraduate and graduate courses. His research has been published in prominent journals such as The Accounting Review, Journal of Accounting Research, and Journal of the American Taxation Association (JATA). He previously served on the editorial boards of JATA and Accounting Horizons.

Before academia, Cuccia practiced as a CPA with KPMG. He is actively involved in professional organizations, including the American Taxation Association (ATA), National Tax Association, and American Institute of CPAs. He recently served as president of the ATA.

His academic background includes a Ph.D. from the University of Florida (1990) and a BBA in Accounting and Management from Loyola University New Orleans (1982).
