Andrei Silov is an Assistant Professor in the Photonics and Semiconductor Nanophysics group at TU/e's Applied Physics department. His research focuses on the physics of individual nanostructures, including quantum dots, spin manipulation in impurities, and colloidal perovskite nanocrystals. Collaborating with Prof. Paul Koenraad, his work aims to leverage nanoscale properties for future telecom applications.
