Andreas Wendt

Prof. Dr. Andreas Wendt is an Honorary Professor at the Technical University of Munich (TUM) since 2024, affiliated with the TUM School of Engineering and Design. His expertise lies in corporate governance, strategic production systems, and operational excellence. After earning his doctorate in mechanical engineering from TUM in 1992, he held senior leadership roles at Robert Bosch GmbH and BMW AG, where he developed value-driven production frameworks and holistic management models. His work at BMW included pioneering the EFQM Excellence Model application in plant management and supply chain strategies during the semiconductor crisis.
