Andreas Ullmann

Andreas Ullmann is a Research Associate at the University of Potsdam's Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences, affiliated with the Chair of International Relations. He contributes to the collective research group 'International Rule of Law' and focuses on empirical investigations at the intersection of international relations and international law.

• B.A. in Sociology from Ludwig Maximilian University in Munich
• M.A. in Political Science with a focus on Comparative Politics and Area Studies from the University of Hamburg

His research areas include human rights, compliance with UN treaty bodies, international organizations, environmental policy, and development studies. He has published in journals such as Review of International Organizations, Journal of Conflict Resolution, and European Journal of International Law. Between 2022 and 2024, he served as senior editor of the Zeitschrift für Internationale Beziehungen (Journal of International Relations) during Andrea Liese and Thomas Sommerer's editorship.
