Andreas Poetis

Dr. Andreas Poetis is a Professor at the School of Law, University of Central Lancashire Cyprus. He holds a PhD in Law from the National Kapodistrian University of Athens (1975) and established his legal practice in Cyprus in 1968. Recognized for his contributions to legal scholarship, he was awarded an Honorary Doctorate by UCLan in 2022. His research focuses on bankruptcy law and corporate legal frameworks. He authored ‘The Law of Bankruptcy’ (2022), complementing his earlier works on corporate law issues.
