Andreas Georgiou

Andreas Georgiou is a Special Teaching Staff member in Computing and Web Development at the University of Central Lancashire Cyprus (UCLan Cyprus). He holds a BSc in Computing from UCLan Cyprus (2022) and certifications in DevOps, Spring Boot, Machine Learning/Python, and various programming languages. His expertise spans Software Development, Web Design & Development, Networking, and Cloud Architecture, with a focus on IoT, AI, and Biotechnology.

Professional Experience: He has worked as a Software Engineer at Efevre Tech (2023–Present), Freelance Web Developer (2019–Present), and in roles at Epic Cyprus, Silversky3D, TRG, and Prevention at Sea. He also served as a Private Tutor at UCLan Cyprus (2021–2022), teaching computing fundamentals to professionals.

Research Interests: Technology, IoT, AI, Biotechnology, and Web Development methodologies. He is a member of JA Cyprus and has completed advanced courses in Digital Marketing and technical certifications through platforms like Codecademy and Amigoscode.
