Andreas Martin Hofmeir

Andreas Martin Hofmeir is a renowned Professor of Tuba and Director of the Bläserphilharmonie at Mozarteum University Salzburg. Specializing in wind instruments, he combines classical performance with innovative跨界 projects. His career spans orchestral work (e.g., Vienna Philharmonic), chamber music (e.g., tuba-harp duo with Andreas Mildner), and cabaret performances. A 2024 Echo Klassik winner, he also leads the cult band LaBrassBanda and authored Hundsgemeine Instrumentenkunde. His teaching focuses on brass pedagogy and performance.
