Andreas Inghammar is an Associate Professor and Deputy Dean at Lund University School of Economics and Management (LUSEM), affiliated with the Department of Business Law. He holds additional research roles at the Norma Research Programme and Lund University Centre for Business Law (ACLU). His work focuses on EU Labour Law, global supply chain regulations, disability rights, and migrant workers' protections.
He earned his doctoral degree (2007) with a comparative study on disability and employment law in Sweden, England, and Germany. Key research projects include the EU-funded European Labour Law Network and the Restatement of Labour Law in Europe, addressing topics like social sustainability due diligence and populism's impact on labour law.
In teaching, he leads courses on trade, sustainability, and labour law at both undergraduate and graduate levels. His societal contributions include advising on EU labour legislation frameworks and global collective agreements to improve labour rights in developing countries' supply chains.
Notable collaborations involve the Raoul Wallenberg Institute and the Norma Research Group, with ongoing projects exploring employer loyalty duties and global industrial relations. He has supervised master's theses in trade law and human resources, emphasizing practical legal compliance in business contexts.
