Andreas Heise

Professor Andreas Heise is a Professor in the Department of Chemistry at RCSI, leading the Polymer Chemistry and Biopolymer Labs. His research focuses on polymer engineering for biomaterials, hydrogels, and drug delivery systems. He has held academic positions at DCU and non-academic roles in the polymer industry (DSM). Key honors include the RCSI CEO Innovation Award (2018) and a Science Foundation Ireland Stokes Lectureship (2008).
