Andrea Tinnes

Andrea Tinnes is a Professor at the Design Faculty of Burg Giebichenstein University of Art and Design Halle since 2008. Her career includes roles as Adjunct Professor (2005–2008) and Interim Professor (2007–2008). She holds a degree in Communication Design from the University of Applied Sciences Mainz and a Masters in Graphic Design from the California Institute of the Arts. As a freelance designer since 2000, she founded the font label typecuts, focusing on typeface design. She has served as Pro-rector of Communication (2010–2014) and on the Art Council of the Federal Ministry of Finance since 2010.
