Georg Böttcher is a Professor of Industrial Design at the Burg Giebichenstein University of Art and Design Halle. He holds a Diplom in Industrial Design (1966) and has extensive experience in the construction machinery industry and design consultancy. Since 1980, he has been actively involved in teaching and research at Burg Giebichenstein, including a substitute professorship (Vertretungsprofessur) in technically oriented design at the Fachhochschule in Kiel (1991). His work bridges industrial practice and academic design education.
