Dr. Andrea R. English is a Senior Lecturer in Philosophy of Education at the Moray House School of Education and Sport, University of Edinburgh. She holds significant academic leadership roles, including President-Elect of the John Dewey Society and Editor-in-Chief of IMPACT: Philosophical Perspectives on Education Policy. Her research focuses on productive struggle in learning, dialogic pedagogy, and decolonizing education. She earned her doctorate from Humboldt University Berlin and has taught globally, including at Mount Saint Vincent University and Humboldt University Berlin.
