Audrey Cohan is the Senior Dean of Research, Scholarship, and Graduate Studies at Molloy College, with 29 years of service. She holds a faculty position in the Educational Leadership for Diverse Learning Communities program, focusing on equity, special education, and teacher development.
- Education: Ed.D. in Educational Administration and Policy Studies from Hofstra University (1991), Advanced Certificate in Educational Administration and Supervision from Brooklyn College (1984), MA in Special Education from New York University (1981), and BA in Elementary and Special Education from Brooklyn College (1979).
Her research spans special education equity, English language learners, John Dewey's philosophy, and disability inclusion. Recent publications address pandemic pedagogy, resilience-building, and multilingual learner strategies. She has also explored Dewey's influence on cross-cultural education in China.
