Andrea Gordon

Dr. Andrea Gordon is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Adelaide, affiliated with the School of Biomedicine within the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences. She serves as Program Director for the International Program in Addiction Studies, a collaborative triple-badge Master's program involving King's College London (UK) and Virginia Commonwealth University (US). Her research focuses on substance use during pregnancy and improving health outcomes for women and their families. She has supervised over 10 PhD/Master's students, covering topics such as fetal alcohol spectrum disorder, cancer, breastfeeding, child protection, and venous access.

Dr. Gordon’s work bridges pharmacology and public health, emphasizing translational research to address real-world challenges in maternal and child health. She is actively involved in academic supervision and program leadership, contributing to interdisciplinary initiatives in addiction medicine and healthcare policy.
