Andrea Buraschi

Professor Andrea Buraschi is a Chair in Finance at the Department of Finance, Business School, Imperial College London. Previously, he served as a Visiting Professor of Finance at The University of Chicago Booth School of Business (2011–2013), and held roles at London Business School and Columbia University. He earned his PhD in Financial Economics and Econometrics from The University of Chicago.

His research focuses on five key areas: Economic Uncertainty and Differences in Beliefs, Term Structure and Derivative Markets, Hedge Fund Performance, General Equilibrium and Networks, and Portfolio Management. Additional interests span Banking, Applied Economics, Economic Theory, and Applied Mathematics.
