Andre Tofteland

Andre Tofteland is an Associate Professor in the Department of Economics and Finance at the University of Agder, Norway. He has served as Faculty Director at the School of Business and Law and previously led the Department of Economics and Finance. His expertise lies in financial accounting theory, particularly normative standards for business and non-business entities. Tofteland holds degrees from the University of Agder (Siviløkonom) and the Norwegian School of Economics (HAE).

His research focuses on financial accounting standards, governmental accounting, and educational methodologies in accounting. He has contributed to numerous textbooks and educational materials, including foundational works on IFRS compliance and financial statement analysis.
