Andrada Bilan is an External Lecturer in the Department of Finance at the University of Zurich and a Research Economist at the Swiss National Bank's Monetary Policy Analysis Division. She holds a PhD in Finance from the Swiss Finance Institute and University of Zurich, an MRes in Economics from Toulouse School of Economics, and a BSc in Economics from Complutense University of Madrid. Her research focuses on bond markets, derivatives, and the real effects of credit frictions.
She has held visiting roles at institutions including the Wharton School, European Central Bank, and Deutsche Bundesbank. Notable honors include the ECB Lamfalussy Fellowship and AFA Doctoral Student Travel Grant. Her work has been presented at conferences such as the Texas Finance Festival and European Finance Association meetings.
