Steven Ongena is a Professor of Banking at the University of Zurich, with affiliations as a Senior Chair at the Swiss Finance Institute, Research Professor at KU Leuven, NTNU Business School, Deutsche Bundesbank, and a Research Fellow at the Centre for Economic Policy Research (CEPR). He is a regular research visitor at the European Central Bank.
