Anastasios Zoupides

Anastasios Zoupides is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Primary Education of the Democritus University of Thrace since October 2019. He also serves as Teaching Staff (E.DI.P.) at the School of Education (University of Western Macedonia, Florina) since 2017. His primary affiliation is with the Pedagogical Department of Kindergarten Teachers of Florina.

Research focuses on designing innovative Instructional Learning Sequences (ILS) for formal/non-formal education, emphasizing inquiry-based learning and constructivist frameworks. Key topics include the Control of Variables Strategy (CVS), models in science education, and student teacher training.

He has participated in three research/development projects (including one EU-funded) and completed a postdoctoral research project (2015) on factors influencing learning of CVS strategies among early childhood education students.
