Anastasios Tefas is a Professor at the Department of Informatics, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He received his B.Sc. (1997) and Ph.D. (2002) in Informatics from the same university. His academic career includes progressive roles from Postdoctoral Researcher (2002-2006) to Lecturer, Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, and ultimately Professor (2022-present).

Prof. Tefas serves as Area Editor for Signal Processing: Image Communications and has co-organized 15+ workshops. His work has garnered >12,000 citations with an H-index of 53 (Google Scholar).
