Anasa Hicks is an Associate Professor of History at Florida State University's College of Arts and Sciences, specializing in Latin American and Caribbean history with a focus on twentieth-century Cuba. Her research examines intersections of race, gender, and labor dynamics, particularly through her book project Hierarchies at Home: A History of Domestic Service in Cuba from Abolition to Revolution.
