An Jacobs

An Jacobs is a Senior Lecturer at Nottingham Trent University's Department of Politics and International Relations. Previously, she served as Senior Lecturer in Defence and International Affairs at the Royal Military Academy of Sandhurst and held roles at ETH Zurich, Maastricht University, and the EU Rule of Law Mission EULEX in Kosovo.

Recent publications analyze EU security policy evolution, African conflict patterns, and military education practices across Europe, the Balkans, and South America. She also contributes to policy debates on post-Brexit EU-UK defense cooperation.

Her fieldwork spans Kosovo, Ukraine, Uganda, Burundi, and Democratic Republic of Congo.
