Amy Wheeler

Amy Wheeler is an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Performing Arts and Arts Leadership at Seattle University's College of Arts & Sciences. A multifaceted arts leader, educator, and playwright, she combines nonprofit management, theatre arts, and creative entrepreneurship with a focus on equity and artist empowerment.

Her work spans global cultural initiatives, evidenced by her transformative 17-year leadership of Hedgebrook - a writer's residency that expanded from a private foundation to an international nonprofit.
