Amy Matthews is an Associate Professor in Creative Writing at Flinders University and currently serves as Deputy Director of the Assemblage Centre for Creative Arts. She holds a PhD, First Class Honours, and dual BA degrees from the University of Adelaide and University of South Australia. Her research focuses on genre fictions, popular romance, historical fiction, and climate crisis narratives. Matthews is a multi-published novelist under pen names Amy T. Matthews, Amy Barry, and Tess LeSue, with works spanning literary fiction, romance, and historical genres.
