Amy L. Tibbitts is an Associate Professor of Modern Languages & Literatures (Spanish) at Beloit College. She holds a B.A. from Pacific Lutheran University and M.A./Ph.D. degrees from the University of Oregon. Her teaching focuses on all levels of Spanish language instruction, including specialized courses on Spanish film and El Quijote. Research interests include contemporary Peninsular literature, authority dynamics in Spanish cinema, and environmental themes in Spanish-speaking literature.
