Amy L. Lytle is a Professor of Physics at Franklin & Marshall College, where she leads research in ultrafast and nonlinear optics, quantum optics, and quantum mechanics education. - Quantum Optics: Experimental tests of Born's rule using light diffraction, exploring the probabilistic nature of quantum mechanics and the interpretation of quantum measurements.
- Conceptual Understanding in Quantum Mechanics: Investigation of how students develop conceptual models in quantum mechanics, including the use of metaphors, ontological categorization, and hands-on instructional methods.
