Dr. Ammar Al Shameri serves as a Researcher and Lecturer at the Technical University of Munich since July 2023, following prior roles as Project Manager (February-June 2023) and PostDoctoral researcher in Prof. Volker Sieber's group (September 2020-January 2022) at the same institution.
He completed his PhD in August 2020 with research focused on Powering Biocatalytical reactions with Hydrogen, supervised by Dr. Lars Lauterbach and Prof. Peter Neubauer from Technical University of Berlin alongside Dr. Bettina Nestl from University of Stuttgart.
His research centers on biocatalysis and sustainable chemical processes, specifically developing hydrogen-powered biocatalytic systems for environmentally friendly synthesis.
